smoking policy ?

Booked to go Bahamas 5/09 Carnival Truimph Ship ..inside room, no windows, actually on the 4th deck, one down from main floor.
Could anyone tell me...how is that floor as far as being at the bottom, walking, elevators, etc..not a problem.
And, can you smoke inside your room? I know, outside is one side.
Thanks,
Happy Cruizin !
MJ

I think it is no smoking in every room except balcony rooms. Usually, a certain side of the ship [starboard on our previous crusies] is designated as a smoking area. I think you can still smoke in the casino also.

As far as your location on the ship, go to Carnival's web site and pull up the Triumph. You can deck to deck and see where the elevators, steps and other areas are located.

PS You will love the Triumph. We took her shortly after her maiden voyage.

Smoking on Carnival ...

Ok. First cruise and a big non-smoker. I have not yet paid for the cruise and this generates a huge question for me and my family ... we requested a Suite and got a free upgrade to a Penthouse Suite, what's the chance it smells like smoke and/or that we could smell the party next to us smoking? Also, I am now hearing that the casino is a smokers heaven ... smoke so thick it is ridiculous. Any truth to that rumor?

I don't want to offend any smokers, my dad and sister are heavy smokers but it has always been something I just didn't like and didn't want to be around.

I have talked to multiple cruisers and they all say we won't have a problem ut what is the take from the good cruisemates folks?
