Need Cheap Hotel room close to Miami Pier for April 24th

Friends of mine are driving to Miami Pier the night before. They are looking for a cheap hotel room around $60 that is not in a bad location, etc.

Good luck. I'm not sure there is one for that price in that location. Have them check the usual websites for rates.

I see now in the original subject line the date is in april, by Easter folks do start going home that winter in S. Florida, so prices will be starting to come down, but still $60, as others say, not sure that is doable near the pier. Someone mentioned a particular hotel in S. Beach that was less than the others, but that still wouldnt be $60 range...sorry I didnt see the date in the subject line.

Unless your friends are Priceline & Hotwire savy, I'd recommend the LaQuinta Airport East on LeJune Road. It's reasonably priced and has free parking, continental breakfast and a shuttle to the pier.

The only $60.00 rooms I've seen are Priceline rooms and many of us are not able to make use of them. I'd have to say that if your friends aren't used to using Priceline or Hotwire, it won't help.
