What's the criteria to get an invite to the past guest's party? Does it have to be for past cruisers on 5- or more day cruises? If so, that doesn't seem too fair. I only cruised on a 4-day.

You become a past guest after you've sailed on any length of cruise but they only have the party on the 5 day or longer cruises.

We are a past guest also, we have done a 5 nights with Carnival. We are booked again thru Carnival for 5/09. Curious, how to know where/when the past guest party is...do they notify you, your agent or Carnival,etc?
And what is a past guest party ?

Beachcomber you should call Carnival and get your past guest number. You need to add that to your booking information (fun pass) in order to get the past guest invite. They drop the invitation off at your cabin. If you don't have you pass guest number on the booking information they will not know you are a pass guest and we will not be invited to the party. I missed a couple of pass guest parties because of this.

a past guest party is a party they have specifically for past Carnival guests to say thank you. at the party, the orchestra plays, there is dancing if you choose to do so, appetizers, and free alcohol all around they also show a video. it's nice.

I hope the past guest pins for the Valor are as nice as this one you received.
Darlene........they are all alike......except for the name of course.....sometimes you don't get them til you go to the party......that's how we got ours on the Pride in January.
