5 people to cabin - question

We are booked in July on the Fantasy. Booked on Empress deck, inside stateroom. We know it will be "very tight" sqeeze in there. We will be given use of a roll away bed. Does anyone know where this bed will be place, what the layout will be (if anyone has a photo of a room w/ roll away that would be GREAT!). This will be our third cruise for the 4 in my family, this time, my we invited my father in law & just want to see if we'd be better packing a sleeping bag for someone.

Not much help here, no pics. Iv heard the roll away will pretty much take up all the walking around space so you will have to get over it to get to the bathroom during the night. The men can go to the spa to shower before dinner so there are not 5 in the same bathroom.

Well, at least you are already aware its going to take a shoehorn to move around and will be tight. Id keep the beds as twins and not push them together as a queen, keep the twins under the two bunks. You can put the suitcases under the beds.

If i leave the 2 beds as twins under the bunks, can the roll away fit in the middle of them and have 1 HUGE bed? All luggage would go under the bed...I'm just now wild about blocking the bathroom door at night as it's generally ME that has to get up! !

We did 5 in an inside last year on the Paradise, this is the only picture I could find that shows the beds:



They left the beds down the entire trip which worked out fine as it gave everyone a place to sit/relax when in the cabin.

Quite a contrast to the trip we took this year with 5 on the Fascination:



We did have them put the couch up the first day but after that had them leave it with the beds down, just worked out better with beds than the couch.
