Locks on balcony doors - Fantasy

Hello! I was hoping someone could tell me what the locks are like on the balcony doors. I am wil be cruising with my two-year old and I don't want her to be able to open the door! She can open the doors at home already and she is only 17 months right now!

Don't leave her unattended at any time, they may have a security dead bolt, if not. place the sofa in front of the door to block.
You would be better off having the grand parents watch thier grand daughter, so you and your husband can romance each other.

The only balcony cabins on the Fantasy are suites (cat11 and cat12)
Hopefully you knew that already and you're getting a suite - SWEET

We've actually taken our children on three cruises, and have stayed in balcony cabins each time...

I'm pretty sure the doors are the same on all ships.. (they've been similar on the three we've been on) and the doors are HEAVY. My older daughter was 8 when we were on the Spirit in February.. and she STILL had a hard time pushing the balcony door open.. My 3 year old couldn't open it at all... and would just come stand by the window and knock til we let her out with us..

I don't think you need to worry about your child "escaping" when your back is turned..
