Default attn past Valor passengers

are there electrical outlets on the lido deck for you to plug your laptop into or should I plan to bringing an extra battery? for example, the areas where there are tables on the side, near the plexiglass.... I can see sitting there while I work (write) and can still see the sea from there...

also, is the wi-fi connection pretty good outside?

There would have to be plug ins at some points on the Lido deck because on the last night at sea the crew cleans and scrubs the deck down. I have no idea if you can use the plug in or not for computers.

Batteries for laptops-I suggest going to TSA website and seeing what their rules are for spare batteries. It changed recently and there is a limit to how many lithium batteries one can take on a plane. If you are driving to port, then no worries mate!!!

Wi Fi has a cost to use, the cruise lines are making bank on the service. second, Wi Fi is limited. note: most screens on most computers will be affected by direct sun. test yours outside then see how much it Wi Fi service cost, then e-mail your cruise lines about service.
Good luck

If there is power available on deck, you can bet it'll be European power ie: 50 cycle/230 volt. Your laptop may, or may not run on that power, but I'll bet you won't have the adapter to match the plug. If I were you, I'd take the spare battery, and recharge it in the cabin where there is good ol' U.S. 110 volt/ 60 cycle power available.

Thanks, everyone, I'll keep your tips in mind.

Also, on Valor, what are the two formal nights? I may make a hair appt for one of them and I want to do that before I arrive at the port. Is that possible?
