We had a oceanview room on the Conquest and I thought it was pretty big.

To determine which would be better for you, larger oceanview or standard balcony...
what will you be mostly doing in your cabin? How many passengers? How much luggage? Having a larger cabin helps if you have more than 2 people in it or more than average amount of luggage, etc. but a balcony is better if you want to enjoy the fresh air, ocean breeze, etc while in the room.

And now that I look closer, 2473 is not set up for more than 2 passengers so the extra room won't help for that purpose. :o
The standard oceanview is what we had last time on Conquest, and they are larger than the oceanview cabins on the older ships...it was plenty of room for DH and I plus our 2 suitcases of "stuff".

I say go for the balcony as the room is plenty big and with a balcony to boot

I had some friends in 2473 last year. We went to visit and the cabin is huge. They said there was a lot more noise in that cabin, but it was fine.
