We have seen many weddings on board many ships. I have talked to a couple of the brides and asked them how they liked it and they loved it. A couple of them said it was more than they expected but they all recommended bringing your own photographer. The ships charge way too much.
We did the renewals for our 30th on the Star Princess and it was beautiful.

My son was married last year on the Liberty cruise. All details were handled through Carnival. They were married at Bluebeards Castle. A beautiful ceremony and a well coordinated event. I recommend it.

We had Carn. handle it all and it WAS PERFECT ! ! ! ! Literally it was much much more than we ever expected. We also had 48 guests / friends who travelled w/ us and they too were all in awe w/ #1 the people prepping us for the ceremony . . then the actualy ceremony itself . . . it was literally 'priceless' . . . and then we had a reception following in the Piano Bar. It was just absolutely perfect. "The Wedding Experience" . . . who you can find 'on line' performs all of Carn's weddings and you can call them direct w/ any questions / concerns. These people (Rosie especially ! ! ! ) were just remarkable. I would 'hands down' recommend a Carn. wedding. If you have ANY question . . . write me direct email@example.com I'll answer all your questions. Yes the ships photo. took over 500 pics. and his initial prices WERE HIGH . . . but we waited to the last day of our cruise to really sit and talk and deal w/ him . . . we ultimately go total package for 1/2 of what they were originally asking. Still a little pricey but . . . this was OUR WEDDING ! ! ! ! Good Luck to you ! ! !
Another thing I've heard,,,,,and I don't know if this is fact on all "Carnival" ships,,,is that if you have folks who can't attend the ceremony, they can log into the ships cameras, and watch the ceremony LIVE. How cool is that? Just another "Perk" of getting married aboard a "Carnival" ship.
