Default Costa Maya

Anyone heard of when Carnival will start sending ships back to that port? What are the odds that the Valor will have Belize or Honduras switched for Costa Maya, which is where it went before Dean strolled through. I'll be onthe Valor in January and I really would like to see Honduras and Belize, and not Costa Maya since it didn't impress me when I was there the first time.

My PVP at Carnival told me last week that they would be back in Costa Maya by Dec. of this year.

Is your photo of Playa Bonita in Cozumel? Looks like PB two hurricanes ago.

Snoozeman;
I am not sure what the area was called. It is a little place we found on the SE side of Cozumel. This was taken this last Jan. when we were there on the Ecstasy. Loved this place. Cold beer great margarits, and salsa.
Will go there again ASAP.

Thats it. Good to see the palpas up. Seems every time they make improvements they catch a hurricane.

One of favorite places to go.

Michael;

There are some great Margaritas in TX. We will be down in Austin over the 4th. of July for our DD's birthday. Then we will be back in Galveston In Jan/Feb. for our first trip on the Conquest. We love TX and enjoy the people, and the State.
Gary

PS.
You guys brew some fine beers too.

If you are going to Galveston Island - you have to eat dinner at Willie G's. I don't know about their margaritas but we loved the food, the restaurant and the service. We were able to snag a window table next to the harbor and watch the cruise ships sail out Saturday evening and look forward to ours sailing on Sunday.

I saw Willy G's when we were there in Jan. for the Ecstasy. Didn't get to eat there. Will try next time. Sounds good.
Thanks

Be sure to bring money for Willie G's. It is very expensive!

Disney is scheduled to return at the end of September (and has been for some time). The port itself should be ready as early as July. I think by August some ships will be sneaking in.

If a hurricane interferes with cruises getting to other Western Caribbean ports, Costa Maya should be ready.
