Default World Word II Museum

Mean Dean's touching tribute to his Dad's WW 2 service cause me to think CruiseMates who are coming to BLOG2NOLA should make an effort to visit our D-Day Museum..I have visited the Museum several times in conjunction with national holidays and they do a great job of presenting exhibits and having guest speakers that are truly interesting

Maybe if enough CruiseMates express interest we can try to get a group discount and it's within walking distance of the French Quarter so you won't lose any party time

As an added bonus, there are pictures of a :: very young ::Melody driving rivets into a Higgins Boat in a special exhibit about the contribution of women to the war effort

Having been born in the very late 50's, I just don't think it would be possible to get that pic!
