Default How long between Long Beach airport & Carnival Cruise sh

We are booking our cruise for October 19 on the Carnival Pride. I'm trying to book our flights and I need to know how far the cruise ship is from the airport. We return at 9am. Can we make a flight at 11:25am? We can take a later flight if need be, but the sooner I can return to Denver the better since I have a speaking engagement that I have to be at when I return.

This is only our second cruise and the first time on the west coast. Just don't want to cut ourselves short on time.

Thank you in advance for your replies and guidance.

Hi~

Although Long Beach airport is very close to the dock (port of Long Beach), you may want to book a later flight. I have sailed on various Carnival ships & each time we were held up in customs & weren't able to get off of the ship at the time scheduled. On one trip, we were stuck on the ship for an additional five hours.

IF you get off of the ship on time, you should have no problem making your flight. I do suggest that you prearrange your transportation to the airport, if you haven't already (we used Super Shuttle for six of us).

Good Luck
