We just booked it on the ship, for this port. We just felt better with ship operators. The tour was for the falls, fern gulley, botanical gardens, and, shopping..We decided to opt off the bus before we did the falls...My kids loved it though.

Trip, with her book & tea!

Default Dunn's River Falls

Thanks for the info...how old are you kids? We are taking our 16 year old daughter and her best friend. I am worried that they will get bored with the botanical garden part.

We booked Phil Lafayette Tours for Jamaica for the middle of July. I read a lot of good things about him.

When we did the Dunns River Falls we LOVED it. It was very cool climbing up the falls. We had a big party (15) so we just rented out a big bus and someone drove us around. There are always may people standing outside of the ship offering to take you around town.

Last time we were there there were several ships tours that included the falls. One that might interest you is the "Cool Runnings" Catamaran tour to the falls. We boarded the Cat for the sail to the falls. After climbing the falls there is a sail to a nearby beach for 2 hrs of sun and then back to the ship. Open bar after the falls.

We have booked with Peat Taylor Tours. Peat's tours are outstanding. He will take you where you want to go. He takes you to the Falls before the crowds hit. If you want to eat lunch on the ship, he will drop you off and pick you up later for more sight seeing. He is VERY accommodating. We book with him each time we cruise to Jamaica. For repeat customers, he tries to show you something new about his homeland. Our groups contain all age groups 3 - 83! Google his name, you will find him!
