Whats going on with GUAR. rates

I JUST LOOKED AT CHEEP tICKETS WEB SITE,
Fantasy inside in Dec. $259 OV GUAR total inc. taxes about $2500
Are we going to be forced to not use the Guaranty option????

I don't know how you got to $2500??? I just looked up ocean view GTY, and the price was $349 plus tax and fuel surcharge. That's a long way from $2500, and I'm sure if I look a little harder, I can find it much cheaper than that!

Go to cheap Tickets and look at the Fantasy Dec.8 sailing,and see if the
Guar. rates aren't messed up. I got the link as an email,and have sailed on the ship in MARCH & MAY It may not come up on your computer if you just go to CHEAP TICKETS WEB SITE,BUT I'M GOING TO TRY TO SEE IF IT;S DIFFERANT.

I just tried it too and I don't even come close to that figure. Maybe there is some reference when using the link and it may pass a hidden promo code that in turn jacks up the price for you. You may not visually see it but it would be pass through in the coding when you follow the link you recieved.

Following your step by step instructions (cheap of the week, more cruises, date, line, and days), you are correct!!!!!!! Might as well book the penthouse if you can afford that rate for the OV guarantee!!

We are booked for the Dec 8th on the Fantasy.
Our total price with the tax and insurance for three people
is only $1049.68.

That is an inside room on the upper deck and we picked our
room that we will be in when we booked.

I came across the same thing when I was researching a cruise once. The guarantee booking was over 1,000.00 per person for an oceanview. I thought it was a misprint. No way would I book something like that. I was able to get a balcony (assigned cabin) on the Glory last October for a little over 700.00 per person. My Legend cruise coming up Oct. 2009 is 785.00 per person, 8A (balcony) guarantee, and that included fuel surcharge. I hope people really don't book at that high price.
