Default Energy Costs Affect The Cruise Industry

There has been a lot of coverage on this subject. The immediate result is less cruises in European waters. The Caribbean cruises are affected by a drop in Southern itineraries from Florida-Aruba is being dropped by a number of ships. This will also have an effect on Curacao, Barbados, Grenada, and Margarita Island. A lot of cruises will take in a concentrated group of islands close together to save on fuel costs. So check any changes in cruise intinerary.

Aruba will likely stay on southerns leaving from San Juan wouldn't you think, which is a good thing, since that island is so popular.

The southern has always been my favorite itinerary, but, what has always been an issue, was the high cost of the fare to SJ. Now, given the state of airfare, that prices must be even more sky high!

Get ready to cinch our belts even tighter:(

Maybe a few more ten-day cruises? That would be a good change IMHO.

Fuel costs are hitting everything.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
