packing question!

For any of you that have used the vacuum bags in you luggage, how do you repack to get everything back home off the ship, I was so excited last night telling my DH that this would save us so much room and then he asked me this question. I was actually speechless. And that takes a lot. .

Any help would be appreciated.

Roll the bag with a small opening to let the air out.

Yes, it takes less room, but it weighs that same. So when you put it on the airline scale your 50lbs. just became 75lbs, or more!

Thank you. I didn't even think of zip lock bags. We just drive to the pier so I don't have to worry about the weight. Just wanted fewer bags.
