i like to take a large insulated cup or thermos...that way i can fill it at the buffet with coffee, tea, lemonade, punch or even water. it stays cold or hot for a long time and you can add your own liquor for drinks if you like. and it doesn't look like it is a mixed drink.
My is from a hospital,

just a thought have a wonderful and safe trip. Wish it was my turn...but i will wait in line like a good little girl.

Yeah, but my 30 GB IPOD has 4000 songs on it and I wear it when I run in the AM before I start drinking.

There will be pad of paper and pens in the desk. I like to bring my lava lamp too. Just the right amount of light.

Don't forget to leave contact information/itenary with loved ones in case of emergency.
Make house sitting/checking arrangements with your friend/family or neighbors...
copies of birth certificate, drivers license/id etc...
oh yeah, don't forget tip money....

Your own snorkel and mask. Sure you can rent them everywhere but the masks we’ve seen have been scratched up and hard to see through. Also I don’t want to wonder whose mouth the snorkel has been in before mine.

If you are anything like me, bring some Aloe Vera gel. It really helps take the sting out of your cruise sun burn. I just finished 2 months of tanning sessions which help a lot. Otherwise I’m miserable the first 3 or 4 days. I have no time to nurse a sunburn, I’m Going on A Cruise!

duct tape - I don't know why but every list I've ever seen says "duct" tape....anyone know what this is used for?

repairs...i read on one thread where i lady's formal dress was caught in the elevator door and ripped. She used the duct tape to tape it back together...to go to dinner. none was the wiser. just walked in sat down and had dinner!

i once used it to repair a hem that came (ya know i pulled the thread and it was pulling out the hem) out just before a date arrived.

how's about...
luggage repair, shoe repair, or maybe to cover the mouth of an obnoxious cruiser

for my last one i brought along an over the door shoe hanger, the one with the plastic pockets...best 7 dollars i ever spent. we put all our toiletries in it and it saved so much room!
