Default Conquest Room, midship on the UpperDeck

I think I just found my room assignment on the Conquest, it looks like its in the center of the ship on the upperdeck, right below the Empress, and above the Promenade. Does anyone here know what to expect? Im a light sleeper, should I pack a white noise maker? If im midship then the rocking wont be too bad, right? Im in Category 4C--what does that mean? When we booked, we purposely chose the cheapest cabin so we could have more money for excursions and souvenirs. It also looks like my cruise is sold out! Im gonna have to fight for those spa treatments! Can you book them online?

I don't know much about your ship, but mid-ship is supposed to be less motion.
Also, I looked online for spa treatments and I don't believe you can book ahead of time, however, when you board the ship, while everyone is grazing at the lunch buffet they might have a tour of the spa treatment center or whatever it's called...
I believe they offer that on my ship "Pride" or I may have read it as a general part of all cruises, I can't remember now...

Midship cabins are less motion but you still feel it some depending on the sea. Spa treatments are best to be booked as soon as you board the ship. I have had several people inform me that you can volunteer when they do the tours your getting a facial while people watch. I'm not sure though you might can check on that. My advice try waiting until one day your in port. They offer all kinds of different discounts and things on port days. The Conquest is a wonderful ship I've sailed on it twice and absolutely loved it each time =) I was also checking the layout of the ship and you wont be too far from elevators either which is wonderful if you just want to make a quick run to the lido =)

Default Hey Red Raider

Hey Red Raider
I am going on the Conquest Dec 14th, when are you cruising?
We will be on the Verandah Deck. If you go before me leave a little fun for us who will be to follow.

Anywho...i've never partaken at the spa...but my friend always does. maybe can can try it this trip (on a port day) FYI---Beware...the people at the spa really push you to purchase products...DON"T let them pressure you
...they are expensive and you probably don't really need them.

Enjoy your cruise and let me hear from you
it's okay your a RR --- we are all old Agggie supporters here

Thanks for all the responses! I will definitely be booking first thing on the ship!

Hey Debbyedoops, (Aggie),

Im sorry we ruin your football season every year. Hehe!

We are cruising August 17th and come back the day before school starts. Yuck. Im sure Ill have a blast! Ill let you all know how it went, and maybe Ill have some tips to pass on to you. Im excited for the spa trip! My boyfriend and I want to get a couples massage, and I want to get a pedicure. I know you save quite a bit of money on port days, but Shea and I want to see the islands as much as we can, so I guess we're paying extra, hopefully the prices are reasonable and not outrageous.

too true about the football...of well there's always next year!

i'm sure you will have wonderful time on the cruise and i do want to hear all about it.

but remember don't let those pushy spa reps spoil you time there...tell them when you enter you are not interested in their products and you want to enjoy your time in the spa so skip the hard sale.

looking forward to all your reviews

4C would be an upgrade (higher deck) from the 4A if that's what you booked. Congratulations. Your location is great.

Enjoy the Conquest.

I have to ask if you've looked to see what is above you other than the promenade. If it is the coffee bar, no worries, if it is the casino--uh oh!!!!!

I would be claustrophobic in an inside cabin, so I always get a balcony. I hope you have a good time. The Conquest is a wonderful ship!!!

Poop!

The upper deck is right above the promenade, which holds the casino. Can you hear all the noise if its under you? Looks like im going to pack a loud fan, or is there a loud fan or ac unit in your cabin already?

No fan. Are you over the casino?

It looks like I'm directly over the impressions bar, which looks like its still part of tahiti casino. Stupid TA! We booked in January, with carnival directly and paid full price becuase we didn't know any better. I wish they'd given us a better room! Looks like I will be bringing a bulky fan, and leaving it there so I can have more room for souvenirs.
