Default Bringing alcohol on board legally

I've heard about bringing wine on board for a fee to pull the cork. Can you bring any other alcohol legally???

You can order it ahead of time and it will be in your room when you board. Its about $40 per bottle depending on the brand.
Otherwise it's just wine or champange.
At least that's my understanding. 8)

Wine or champagne only. No corkage fee unless you take it to the dining room or steakhouse. 8)
Beer/Liquor prohibited.

I took a few bottles of wine. Others in our group carried one each. Before going to the dining room I pulled the corks out halfway, put the wine in a bag, and took it to the dining room with me. Nobody said anything about this. In fact, one nite I did not pull the cork far enough and a waiter went ahead and did it for me, and did not charge a corkage fee.
