Best Western in Galveston?

Does anyone know anything about the Best Western in Galveston? I am going on my cruise September 7. I will just be staying there one night.

I've never stayed there. It gets mixed reviews. Across from beach.

Thank you! Across from the beach would be nice. I took the Conquest March 16th of this year. I didn't book the reservations and I can't remember where we stayed last time. I am taking my Daughter on the Conquest this time. As you can tell, I really enjoyed the Conquest. I am going again so soon. It didn't make it to Jamaica, because there was an emergency on the ship, but I hope to make it there this time.

Anyone else with some info about Best Western in Galveston? Would love to know more about it.

It's one of my favorites as well. I've got several Conquest reviews on my blog. I usually drive in on morning of sailing, but have stayed at the LaQuinta twice when coming in a day early.

Here is a link to BW's site and this hotel.
They provide free parking for people going on cruises.

I stay in BW hotels through out the year and though some are better than others I've never had a bad stay.

Practically all of the Galveston hotels are clean.

Thank you all!! This is a great website. I'm still trying to find my way around though. I am sure I will have more questions as I think of them. I went to the Best Western website and it sounds like a good place to stay.

There is a Rainforest resturant about a mile down the beach and a Super Walmart about three blocks away on the other side.
