Default Charter Cruises

Has anyone ever gone on a charter cruise aboard a Carnival ship?

My husband and I are going on "The Elvis Cruise" next month as we got a deal that couldn't be beat through the USO on it.

I was wondering how many of the standard Carnival rules apply, and can I still order from the Bon Voyage menu? Say I wanted to order a bar setup?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Kara

I have not a clue. It's sounds like a fun cruise. I would think you can still do everything. You can trying calling the Bon Voyage toll free number. Do you have a reservation number? You will need that to order the bar setup.

I would have to think that everything standard is in place. Kat had the right suggestion.....

In 2005 on the Conquest, 1/2 the ship was for our smooth jazz cruise, the other half was not...if you are part of a group you have the benefit of both worlds, your activity and if you so elect, the 'normal" ship activity....for those that are not a part of the group, they are not allow to participate in your groups events

I got to tell you this caused a problem on that cruise because all the jazz people ate at early seating and forced everyone else to late seating, plus since we had the main showroom for the concerts, everyone else was forced to the smaller venues

hence forth, i have only gone on full charter smooth jazz cruises and loved it

you will have a great time and can partake in all the ships activities

Yeah, it looks as if the whole ship is chartered, which should make things run smoother.

then you are in GREAT shape and will really love your cruise...you will be totally immersed in Elvis culture...the waiters will probably be dressed up as Elvis...in your cabin the in cabin movies will probably be an "all Elvis marathon"...your menu's will reflect some of Elvis favorite meals ...the music that is played thru out the ship will be all Elvis....etc. etc. etc.

MMMMMM,,,I should have booked this one too.....On formal night at dinner, they probably offered the "Peanut Butter & Nanner Sandwich". (It just don't get any better than that!) 8)
