Leaving today

To all of my Cruisemates friends. We are about to head to the airport to catch that flight to San Juan. Taking the 7 day southeren route on the Destiny. We are spending 3 days in San Juan after the cruise. Will post review when we return. Won't be taking a laptop on this trip. Happy sailing to everyone leaving before we return.

Blue skys and smooth sailing!!! We are flying out tomorrow evening for our cruise on Monday too. Fascination to Cozumel. Our flight was delayed by 2 hrs and it was VERY unexpected we received a phone call from the airline direct about the delay. WOW!!! What great customer service from USA 3000.

Can't sleep as it is just too much for me.

Have fun. I would like to hear about it becuase I don't know if I would like it going to a port everyday. But maybe you would change my mind.

Cruisenoid, I know that feeling. I can never sleep the night before a flight. I usually fly down to the port one day before the cruise and then get a decent nights sleep the night before the cruise. This way, I feel great getting on the cruise. Bob

I would like to have the insomnia problem. I too leave on Sat. (Aug.2), but my problem will be the stomach ache and the endless trips to the bathroom before I leave. UGH...I AM WOUND TIGHTER THAN A CLOCK!

First cruise..I will be sure to post my review an pics. 8)

Calm down...you will be fine! Do what it takes to really unwind...a pedicure, a walk, go shop, or lunch out. BUT DON"T spend this time fretting just check your list for packing (don't pack the kitchen sink)
then let it go...if not you will be too stressed to enjoy the first few days of the cruise. unwind if you can! Slow down and ENJOY your cruise

have a blast! i did this cruise in March and it was one of the best vacations i have ever had

hope you enjoy as much as i did!

CruiseNoid--I know the feeling, the last cruise I went on we had to be up at 2:30am for a 6am flight (we also had to go pick up my niece and driver who was to drive us to the airport...). I went to bed at 9pm and I doubt I really slept at all......

I am hoping I'll be able to catch a good two-four hour nap before leaving for my cruise in September (I have a red eye flight and have to leave for the airport at 9:30ish pm). I don't want to go 38 hours with no sleep again, I'm almost 39, I need my sleep!!!
