From what I have seen, it is pretty easy. I can let you know better next week when I return. I know that the parking garage is directly across the street from the cruise terminal. Also, I have heard that they have valet parking as well. I am not sure the cost of anything there as of yet, but like I said I can let you know next week. We leave tomorrow
Yep, VERY easy. The parking garage is located across the street from where you check in, (actually the entrance you must use for extended parking is about one block away) however, they DO offer valet parking, and they will take your car from the spot where you drop off your luggage if you wish, and park it for you. Yes, there is additional charge for this, but I think it's nominal. That would make it exceptionally easy, as you drive in, give the porter your checked luggage, give the valet guy your car, and walk 20 steps to check in.
Another good point for Port of Tampa parking, IMO, is that the garage is locked up as soon as the ship sails, and remains locked up until the ship returns. Pretty good security for your car, and it's contents. I'm not sure what the "per day" charge is now. It keeps going up at all the ports. I think it's either $12 or $15 per day now.
See y'all aboard.
I parked there last Feb for my cruise and it was $20 a day.

Simply pull into the bay area and give you luggage to the porters...then go park.
When we were there in May, they started letting folks drop luggage about 10:30am.

No, it wasn't. I just told you that so you would cover my share.
As I recall, it wasn't easy because the entrance was through the EXIT as they didn't open up the gate; must have known that DTW, Dina and I were trouble.
Hey I thought it was $25.00 per day, guess I covered some of Dave' s beer.

No problem Dave. Trust me,,,,I won't say anything,,,,to anybody. WOW, what a great idea. I'll have to remember that the next time I sail with all my brothers on our annual family reunion cruise. (Do you think they'll buy that the parking went up to $50 a day?)

HA!! I even checked the site. $20 per day.. HAHAHA We split it 4 ways which made it cheaper for us. I knew it was something like that.

Yep, drop your bags, go halfway around the circle, continue for about 50 yards, and turn in to the garage on the left. There will be a sign that says something like "cruise parking".
Parking at the Port of Tampa is as easy as finding the port itself as the parking facilities are located just across the street from the terminals. The port authority charges $14 a day to park your vehicle at their facility and Premier Parking Ventures charges $7.99 a day to park your vehicle at their secure facility.
