Default Pearl in a box??

I've asked this one before, just thought I try it again.

Has anyone heard of a gift box where you buy a pearl kit and you open your own oyster to reveil your pearl?

In San Francisco and Las Vegas... You pay like $20 and they open the oyster right in front of you, so you never know what color it will be or maybe you might get two in one. Anyway, I love this concept and I heard that there is a shop on some of the ships where you can buy it. It's like a kit... it comes with the tools to open the oyster etc....

Has anyone ever heard of this? I will be on the Pride, any chance they will have it on there?

Yes, they should have it in the gift shop with the jewellery. My mom bought one for my niece and another for an "honoroary" (she calls my mom granma even though there is no relation, her paternal grandmother died many many years ago)

You should be leaving pretty soon--I hope you have a wonderful time!!!!

Thank you, I'm very excited... I just can't think of anything else to do, other than wait... bags are pretty much packed, (pills, money, etc) have to wait, but otherwise... bank has been notified.. passports, house sitting details, etc.

I got one at silver dollar city in Branson Mo. The lady before me picked one with 2 in it. It would make perfect ear rings. I didn't know they sale them on the ship. I will have to check on the fantasy when I go in Dec.

I hope you have a great cruise.

Hi Hi I think they call them wish pearls. And I've seen them onthe ship with a silver locket you pop the pearl into. I almost bought one when we went on our cruise last september... can't believe it's already a year. And you guys are off on your 2nd cruise. I knew once you went you would go again.
Hugs

Hi,
They are sold in the gift shop that also sells the jewelry. It somes in a nice box- bought three for our nieces for their birthday. It was one of the coolest things! If I recall right, you could either get one that was a necklace or a braclet. It's been a couple years now, so don't really remember the details.
Have a great cruise!!

Heard about this as far back as 1976, not on Carnival, but my mom came back with a black pearl.
