Be sure and tell us which recipe you are trying. (there are several different ones out there)
I just can't wait myself, and I'll be eating the "real thing" starting Monday night aboard "Inspiration" I'll let you know how GOOD it is!

The Cake turned out FABULOUS!! Here is the recipe I used...

Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

8 oz. Semi Sweet Chocolate
8 oz. butter
7 fresh eggs
3 oz. sugar
2 oz. flour

Melt chocolate and butter. In separate bowl, mix 1/2 of eggs with all of sugar. Whisk. Add flour. Add balance of eggs. Add egg mixture to chocolate mixture. Pour in Ramekin cups. Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

I changed it up a bit...400 degrees F and baked it for about 10-12 min. At this time and temp. I got a better (gooier) center.

We always driving to long beach when we cruise out of there to. With the airport hassels and security lines it's almost the same amount of time and less stressful. Drive care through the grapevine.

The Chocolate melting Cake must be the most popular dessert ever. I have never met anyone that does not like it.
Ferrangi, have a great cruise.
Sky and Vita, I wish I were going too. Have a wonderful time.
