Freeport and Nassau Shopping Advise Please
 

We will be in the Bahamas in Oct. I have read some reviews, both pros and cons, about knock off purses. I am not very interested in this, but my 18yo and 20 yo nieces who will be with us are interested.

So, can you steer me in the right direction for where we should look and where we should stay away from?

It was mentioned recently, on the boards, that, the Straw Market in Nassau has them.

I was in Nassau last week and Trip is correct. The Straw Market had tons of them. The prices start about $60.00 but I'am sure you can talk them down to $40.00 or less. I bought one when I was in St. Thomas and although this is the first one that I bought I cannot tell the difference. I compared it to my girlfriends "authentic" and I still could not tell.

:D We traveled to the Bahamas in March and I loved the Straw Market. I bought a "Coach" purse for $40. They started off at $70, but of course you NEVER pay their first price. Get there very early, it get's very hot and the isles are very narrow.
