we are booked for the Oct. 5th on the sensation. The way I pass the time alot is to get some cruise music downloaded. Jimmy Buffett etc. Go out a couple of evenings with my wife or friends that are going with us and have a frozen drink. Discuss the cruise etc. Keep the hype alive and before you know it the cruise will be here. Also come online here and its great to be around fellow cruisers. I love Carnival and cant wait to go again.

Time will pass. And you hate to wish your life away.
I booked our cruise last Dec for this Dec and it still feels like I have forever to wait.
I come on here and read about everyone else getting ready for their cruise and see if anyone says anything about where we are going. I will be looking for Pictures of the Fantacy after she gets her up grades.
There is so much to leatn from people on here.

Ferrangi--I hear you on how the last days seem to drag. Isn't it funny how there seems to be a zillion things to do the last few days and it all seems to come together nicely at the end......I got 10 days and I do hope it passes fast.....LOTS will be done this weekend to have me ready to go....namely laundry that I won't be wearing next week....ok well, I still have more clothes in the closet!!!

Rest assured time will pass!..We booked our Alaska cruise14 months out and we are down to the last 20 days..Problem is it seems time is passing slower the closer we come to the cruise..

You have alot of time to plan the perfect excursions..Book the cheapest airfare and track the price of your cabin..You know if the price drops you can get Carnival to give you an on board credit..

I would definitely do as Kelly suggests. I check the Carnival site about every 2 weeks to see if there are any price changes and then call my PVP to see if they apply to our sailing and so on. This year between both of our cruises combined, I saved a total of $735.00. They offered a senior rate and it was substantially lower than what we booked at and they adjusted the final pmt on our Dec cruise and for the one coming up 9/28 I have an OBC for the difference. It has really paid off to check!
I read the boards here and Cruise Critic plus Carnival, and I started researching our cruise for next year a while ago. We are taking our 28 year old with us (her hubby will be in Iraq for the 2nd time) and I am really wanting to cruise down towards Aruba. There are 2 Princess cruises that I am comparing right now for that cruise so it has kind of kept me busy while passing the time, and now we are 29 days away already for our first cruise of 2!
The 9/28 cruise was unplanned tho....hubby wanted to go somewhere for our 30th anniversary and suggested Vegas so I countered with "why not another cruise" and he said FINE!!! Luckily the Currents magazine came in the mail that day too so the timing was perfect!!

Have a great trip!
