already got room assignment

Just paid off my cruise - final payment and on the site is a room already - we booked a gty. Its Cat 8C room 8343 on the Freedom. One floor below the Lido in the middle. What do you think about that? I hope its not to noisy!

We're at 80 days out for our 2nd Legend cruise this Nov....I check every day but still no assignment. On a more fun note, we leave a week from tomorrow for our pre-cruise stay in Tampa and are in single digits til the cruise

thats strange because the day after I paid off my cruise, I had a room assignment! Don't worry! Have fun!

Not worried since we've never not eventually got a cabin assignment

Mid ship and the floor below the lido deck should not be a problem
and you should not have the noise.
I always have that floor on the liberty and we never hear any thing.

my mother just went on Carnival Legend (with my children actually) and they never got a cabin assignment (booked GTY) until they boarded.
We even tried the old Kelly method.

They said it was something about their new GTY policy ...they don't assign cabins until the last minute? I haven't heard of this before now.

Iam going on the Pride for Halloween and I already have my cabin assigned to me. I too was on a gty.

I don't know why they didn't assign my mom a cabin until the morning of the cruise...but I'll keep checking on my Nov cruise.
