Hey Cherylroy,

I was just thinking about you. So sorry to hear that it might be a while before your power is restored. I saw on the news that Centerpoint Energy here in Houston has sent around 100 plus people to help with the restoration in Louisiana. I know you said it might be several more weeks before yours is restored. I wish I could send you some cool air. I know your are so looking forward to the cruise. Great news about your 45-day letter.

Take care. You are in our thoughts.

Sherrie

Did you have to do anything in order to get the 45 day letter like contact them first? I know there has been previous posts about this but this may soon apply to me...

Wishing you guys have quick fixes to all the hurricane messes. Glad to hear you got your 45 days letter. I'm ready to call on mine. Not sure what to choose though.

Briguy,
Write to Carnival and tell them how much you like cruising with them etc. You can also ask some questions. I asked when are they going to start doing cruises out of San Francisco and they sent me my 45 day letter. Good Luck.

Briguy - right - just write them a short note telling them how much you enjoyed your cruise, etc etc etc. I wrote - and didn't lie about anything because I had a WONDERFUL time. Got the letter in and I have to call within 45 days for a gift to be delivered to my cabin. Since this is the platinium cruise for me - should be really nice (2 gifts??). Wonder what the selection will be.???

Great to hear that y'all are OK except for the power being out. Louisiana without AC can't be much fun. Being from Mississippi, I can empathize.
Hang in there.

When someone writes a letter to Carnival ...generally you will get a letter that says...thank you for your letter ....yada yada yada...please call the number listed before 45 days before your next cruise to receive a free BonVoyage gift.

We usually get the 4 free drink coupons!!!

Hey girl!!

I don't know why I was thinking you were from Texas. (perhaps I have been on one to many cruises this year)

Last Saturday, we drove down from Memphis (down I-55) and saw a lot of traffic headed north. And then when we got on the other side of Baton Rouge...we got into the flow headed to Texas.

Galveston was a lot of fun...but we kept an eye out. This was our first 3 day cruise to nowhere and we had a blast!!! They gave us 50% off and 50% off a future cruise...so I was happy!!

Hope Ike misses you guys....keep us posted!!
