Has anyone booked a guarantee room only to find out they had bunkbeds or twin beds that could not be pushed together before? My husband and I just booked and now I am wondering if i should pay the additional to be sure we have a bed together rather than gamble. Or should I wait to see if they assign me a room early and then pay the additional later if I get stuck in a bad room.
We are booked on the Liberty in March, which I know will have spring breakers, but I figure that will work to our advantage as they will want those types of rooms.
What catogory of guarantee did you book? If it's 4A guarantee you will not get bunk beds. 4A is an inside state room. A 1A can be an lower and upper bed which is bunk beds. I would just check to make certain you are guaranteed a 4A or higher. Guaranteed Inside Stateroom
Each stateroom features twin beds that convert to a king, television, sitting area with sofa, complimentary room service, and bathroom with shower (185 sq. ft.).

Just FYI, even the 1A's aren't that bad. We have booked them before ...deliberately. The cabin steward can bring in an extra single bed and make it up to convert it and the lower "bunk" into a queen size bed. These cabins are plenty roomy enough for that. And, they are usually on hallways that dead-end, so you don't get a lot of noise from people going up and down the hallway on their way to something.
But, 4A definitely excludes the bunk beds.
Jeez, when I was married my wife and I liked to sleep in the twin beds separated.. shortly after that we also became separated...
