Must haves for crusies

Hello everyone, Not long now till me and the wifes first cruise and wondered what are the must have travel supplies . I already have trash bag & Duct tap. I read on the forums these were must haves any other advise.

The most important thing to take on your first cruise and any cruise after that is the right attitude to have a good time. No matter what happens have fun. No matter what you do you will forget something. Just don't let having fun and enjoying youself be the thing that you forget.

Travel alarm clock there is not a clock in your cabin though you can get a wake up call. A power strip is essential so you can plug in more then one electronic device. Your prescription and non prescription medications.A first aid kit. Sewing kit, safety pins. Non drowsy Dramaine. I like a very dim night light or the cabins are pitch black at night. Very dim because it has to go in the center of your cabin where the only outlet is located. Sun block. A tote bag. A battery charger and recharable batteries for camera. Extra memory cards. Sunglasses. A jacket or sweater. Travelers checks, credit cards, and keep a copy of all the phone numbers for your credit cards if lost or stolen. Photo copies of your passport. Cell phone and wall charger.A hat for the sun, good sunglasses. I like to pack my own insulated water bottle saves a ton of money on bottled water just refill on Lido deck.

I like to bring some extra hangers. There are 8-10 hangers in each closet, but I like more. You can ask your stateroom stewart for more but it is just easier for me to bring some of my own.

Asking the cabin steward for more, hangers will make room for an extra pair of shoes, or another must have..:):) With air line weight restrictions, I would rather ask, & get a dozen or so from the ship..of course if you drive to the port, no worries:)

over the door shoe hanger to put accessories/toiletries in and power strip...not many plugs in the room. comes in supa~handy

Don't forget to keep your meds and a few clothing items in an overnight bag Your bags may not show up until very late in the evening so if you want to hit the pool you will need a suit. Also, sometimes your bags may not arrive for a very long time - like the airline loses them - oopsy.
