Wonder if anyone has done a group booking with alcohol as to whether they got their money's worth. Saw a group a few years ago with it, no one could break out alcohol cost for me. I remembered travel agents name and looked on their website. They're offering same type of deal next year but also included a bus from where they are located which is a long way away from us. And is any of the advertisers here offering something similiar?
A group can get a prepaid liquor card. The only way a group(30+ people) can get this is if every person over the age of 21 in the group purchases it. The cost is $45 per person per day. That calculates to $315 per person for a 7 day cruise.
I could be wrong on the price but I know its close to this.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.

Dang that is quite pricey. I guess from my outlook since it really doesn't take a whole lot for me or the simple fact that the consumption just is not up there. I thnnk we spent about $60 at the most on all our alcohol.
I'd be flat out if I drank that much. One or 2 fancy drinks is about my limit. You would find me snoozing ona a sofa in a lounge after 3 lol. I drink a lot of Ice Tea. And not the Long Island type lol.

I think thats about my average per day drinking tab. If you get a few of the foo foo drinks $45 isnt that much with the tip on the bill. Just another comment by Mr Lush here..

With Carnival that would divide out to (without the gratuity) just over 3 buckets of beer (that's 4 beers in a bucket for 13.50 plus gratuity), 8 alcohol type drinks (i.e. vodka tonic, rum and coke) or 6 martinis (average price w/o grat 6.75) The drink of the day would be about 5 and boy you don't want to have more than 1 of those on Carnival. They're loaded with Barcardi 151 most of the time. I call them the nite nite drink. Learned that lesson many years ago. Warned my sister in law about them but she bought one anyway. She had a nap after only drinking a 1/3 of the drink
Thanks for the amount - it all comes down to how much you drink. If you're the occasional drinker, way too much money. If you can put them away, great bargain
