I just got back today (Oct 2nd) from the Destiny. It was a last-minute trip. I have some pics but not sure how to post them here. Maybe someone can tell me. I'm not sure what changes were made. It did not look freshly refurbished, but don't know how it looked before. One of my dinner mates said it was not refurbished but only the haul painted.(?) My cabin looked very nice, except for the bathroom sink which looked old fashioned pink color and had several cigarette burn marks on it (too bad people do that). Also the TV was not the new flat screen type (not a big deal) and it did not have a sleep timer on it. The shower was nice and large and had a brand new shower curtain which felt fresh and clean. The public areas looked fine, not worn out, so maybe some things have been changed lately. One bad thing were the deck chairs. They were the older blue and white stripe type, some were so filthy and stained I wouldn't use them, so definately not new. The deck had the big movie screen which is a real plus. Over all, the ship was nice, a good experience. The ship had some sort of problem with vendors and provision loading schedules and did not leave the Port of Miami until 8pm, so we missed that beautiful exit in day light out of the channel. There was no announcement when we would leave, they kept saying it would be soon, but after 4 hours of waiting I was in the spa when we sailed and missed the view altogether...
