CABIN ON LIDO DECK

Has anyone ever stayed on the Lido deck? We have a balcony cabin on the Lido deck and was wondering about the noise. Right now we are towards the front but was thinking of moving our cabin closer to the elevators. We are on the Valor Dec 14 9229 cabin. Any advise?

Speaking from personal experience (we always book rooms on the Lido deck and we have stayed in that room), I would suggest you stay right where you are, there are only a few more staterooms going towards the front of the ship thereby reducing foot traffic past your door. The closer you are to the elevators, the noisier it gets, people tend to use the elevators as a meeting place. Have fun on the Valor, we love this ship!!

rosetattoo is right a lot of people say ill meet you be the elevator in 20 min. So I would stay where you are. Is there like a medical reason why you want to move closer to the elevators or do you just want to be closer?

we have stayed on the lido deck before and we were about 5 cabins down from the elevators. in my experience the noise level wasnt that bad at all. it was generally quiet.. you expect being on this deck it will be really noisy but generally when i went to sleep it was quiet. hope that helps =)

I have a bad back so the less i walk the better. We thought it would be great to get our food and go to our balcony.

I was in 9252 and had no problems with noise at all

We stayed in 9273 which is right outside the elevators and the noise was never noticeable when the door was closed. I would stay in the same cabin again and loved being on the Lido deck.
