Default Jumbotron's on Carnival Ships?

I just read a magazine article that Carnival Conquest is scheduled for an install of a jumbotron "next year." I am booked on Conquest in June 2009. Does anyone happen to know when the Conquest is scheduled for the jumbotron installation? Just wondering if it will happen before my cruise. I sure hope so!

A jumbotron is a car that changes shapes. Remember the autobots?

No Carnival calls it the Carnival Seaside Theater. I think that is correct they said it was getting it but I am not sure when it is getting it.

I believe the Seaside Theater is supposed to be installed when Conquest goes in for drydock the last part of Jan '09. Not sure of the exact date but we are booked for the Feb 2 cruise and it is supposed to be done before then.

Humor is part of the forum here so jokes in my opinion are good for the soul. Jumbotron is the original large screen that were designed for stadiums. Resolution is generally fairly poor so I would think Carnivals one is much better as they show movies and things on it...

Just got off the Valor and their Jumbo was very clear, even in the daylight. It is located at the main pool and they show movies at night and have other items on during the day. Very entertaining.

Yea it is a LED screen is is very clear even in the very bright light. I think it is like 200 and something square feet big, but I can't remember the exact amount.
