This is a good list. Make sure you take a power strip--never enough outlets. I always take a travel iron, but on my last cruise I was 5 doors down from the laundry room which had a full size iron/board.

That is a big no-no. Irons are not allowed on ships; fire hazzard.

Been on 5 cruises and have always taken my travel iron and left it sitting out in my room. No one has ever said anything about it. I know they won't allow regular irons.

Just because you got away with it, it is still illegal.

"Safety Precautions due to "Safety Precautions", the following items are not permitted onboard:
Irons
Heating Pads
Candles"

Irish is right here. Irons are a serious fire hazzard, because if by accident they are left unattended on a moving ship ship they can easily start a fire.

For years, instead, we travel with a travel steamer; just as effective as an iron, and not a fire hazzard.

You will need one or two "elegant" outfits (or two tops one skrt/pants), one shirt/tank top for every other day, unless white then for everyday.....

I took five tank tops, four shirts, three shorts, two capri's for a seven day cruise and I could have used one more tank top and shorts!!!!!!
The easiest way will be to make a list of what you wear in the summer on an average day and go with that!!!! Less is more, but when it is hot, ot can be a pain in the butt!

Thanks I have another question concerning swimsuits.
I have a very pretty one piece that looks like a sundress. Could I wear this in Cozumel without a coverup. Or can I even wear a bathing suit with a coverup. Or should I just wear my bathing suit under my shorts and tank top.THANKS FOR YA'LL HELP.
I'm soo excited.

A travel steamer is a great idea and the laundry room is never that far away from your room.

Cozumel is part of Mexico and they have very different ideas about female dress. Put your shorts and t-shirt over your bathing suit. They sometimes interpret the way we dress as being an "invitation". Once had a Mexican cop tell me not to cross my legs a certain way because "that is how prostitutes advertise". HUH? Okay, I'll behave.
