A little blurry but these girls across the hall from me decorated their cabin.

I did the Carnival decorations once and thought they were a rip off. If possible, try to find a way to do it yourself. Take stuff in your carry on. Tell them you need to check something out in the cabins, then sneak in and decorate. If not, they will still probably love whatever Carnival does just because you did something special for them.
Just MHO.

Yes, Bob. They were a lot of fun! This was Enchantment 2004 and I was learning how to use this camera. The auto focus was not working right.

I agree with Marty, I was very disappointed with the decorations provided by Carnival for a Happy Birthday celebration, they were drooping from the ceiling by the first night and we asked Carnival to fix them but by the second day they were drooping so badly, we took them all down because you couldn't walk in the room without hitting your head on the banner. We also ordered a cake which was not edible, stale and dry, just awful. If you order a decoration package from the cruise line, I would suggest you supplement with decorations of your own or order item(s) such as wine, T shirt, robe, etc.
