Default Liberty upgrading - but when

I read where the Liberty will be one of 3 ships that are getting some new balcony and/or suites added soon. Apparently going into dry-dock then soon.......does anyone know when? We are booked for Spring and don't want an interruption.

The Carnival Liberty was scheduled to go into dry dock on October 5th, she'll be out of commission for two weeks only...general refurbishment and addition of balconies and penthouse suites.

Apparently all the cabins on the Spa deck are being given balconies. We've already rebooked one of these wich will be Cat 8H instead of 6E.Better hurry, only 17 left.

So what's different about them? Besides location.....are they bigger better or what? What kind of a cost upgrade is it? I think the suites are another $80 per day on our March cruise.

We rebooked into the new 8H cat. because the price was $300.00 less than our original cat 8 guarantee. Second $300.00 reduction since our initial booking.

The Liberty sets sail in Saturday after a drydock of two weeks. It will get two "family" suites that acommodate five people...These cabins are on Upper deck, they modified what was a Cat 11 suite and made it bigger...

The liberty is a beautiful ship!!!
