Default itinerary change

I logged into Carnival's website to check on something with my booking number.

Just realized they changed our Cozumel and Ocho Rios port days around.
We are now stopping in Cozumel on Friday
and stopping in Ocho Rios on Tuesday.

I then called Carnival to check on it and make sure I wasn't seeing things.
The rep confirmed that yes they changed it around due to port congestion in Cozumel on Tuesdays.

So I checked the rest of the year....and Carnival Triumph Western itineraries all have the same change.

I am not dissapointed, other than the time in Cozumel is significantly shortened. However, I am surprised that we didn't get any notification of the change. I just happened to notice. I do realize they reserve the right to change it at anytime, which is fine. But I am really surprised we didn't get a notice.

We had to call and rebook our Cozumel deep sea fishing charter. (thankfully that worked out since its only a few weeks away.)

You will probably get a letter in the mail soon because they usually notify everyone if the itinerary is changing. Unless they have changed something and do not notify everyone anymore.

If you go on this website you can access all the itinerary changes: https://www.bookccl.com/irman/itinerarys_master.htm. You just have to hit itinerary and deployment changes. You can also see all the itineraries for all the ships, ship incidents, and helpful links. I hope this helps.

Sorry. I couldn't get the link to work. So you will just have to copy and paste it in the Address bar.

I wonder why some of the ships don't leave Cozumel and go back to Costa Maya, they have room for three or four ships!!!! Cozumel is very crowded, too crowded....I am good for one to two hours of shopping and that is about all in Cozumel!!

Not my fave port, but a good place to get unique handicrafts!

kelzbelz77,
Sorry to hear about the port changes, you have such a short visit at the largest port. Well, at least you leave tomorrow, we don't leave now until January. Have fun!!

Thank you for fixing it for me. I can usually get it to work, but I didn't see what I did wrong.

They are usually pretty good about sending letters out. But they might be really busy sending out letters to the people that got their cruises canceled because of the Evolutions of fun upgrade. Because they don't have those drydocks scheduled yet, they just cancel cruises.

I havent received letters either. Usually there is a letter handed out at the port or one in cabin. Per your cruise contract, they have the right to change ports or times.
