Default SPA Deck Level Rooms on Conquest

Anyone have experience staying in a cabin on this level on the Conquest? I'm seeing some rates that are comparable to Ocean View rooms.

I know that they have floor-to-ceiling windows, but is it worth booking?

I don't know about all ships, but the conquest class Valor had some pretty great upgrades available. I'm sailing on the Valor on Jan 18, and Carnival is having a sale tomorrow, Thursday, where you can book a gty, and get a free upgrade to spa balcony. Pretty sweet deal! Still cant beat what I got from my TA on a std bal several months ago, so I wont do it. But maybe you could benefit?

I was going to stay on Spa deck in September just because I had never done so and wanted to it before they changed those cabins. Did a balcony, but I think the Spa deck would be great.

Better do it soon as it will change in February.

Yup. Probably out of my budget when they are upgraded. Didn't do it in Sept as it was only a few $ more to get balcony. So I've missed my chance.

That would be pretty cool to look out a window that high up.

We had some friends on the Spa Deck on our first cruise on the Conqest in 2005. But I didn't care for it. It was okay, but give me a balcony and I will be alot happier.

IMHO I didn't care for it. I would rather have an OV closer to the water.

We actually don't want a balcony because of the ages of our sons -- 3 & 7, right now. Definitely in about 4 yrs. or so.

Last year we had an ocean view room on the Main Deck and it was perfect.

We have the option of the same for this year or the Spa Level family oceanview.

What do y'all think?[/b]
