Hi there,

Basically they are prepaid bar and/or beverage coupons. You can buy them pre cruise and save some money on your drinks.

Soft Beverage Credits (4 Drink Coupons) $7.75

Bar Credit (4 Drink Cpns) $21.25

At the end of the cruise if you have any leftover, you can keep them for your next cruise. Most people buy enough tickets to just last the length of the cruise.

Is there really a cost savings by purchasing the coupons? I thought it was the same price and all you are doing is preordering for convenience..

I think there can be a cost savings depending on what kind of drinks you buy. But for the most part, its basically prepaying so that your Sail and Sign bill won't be as high at the end of the cruise.

Are you talking about those entertainment book coupons where you save 50 or 75 dollars off a cruise for 2008 or are you talking about drink coupons ?

Yeah they really arn't saving you any money, but people like them so they don't have a sail and sign card balance.

There are also some coupon books that certain TA give out as an incentive to book with them
