Default Noise level on Liberty

I'll be traveling on the Liberty this month. I was given what appears to be a smoking deal for an upgrade. Going from a Main deck oceanview to a balcony was a no brainer for a few dollars more, but.... I'm now located on the Verandah deck, just below Lido and under the buffet area in Cabin 8400.
Anyone had any experiences on the noise level in this cabin or any others close to this area?

My wife and I were aboard the Liberty in June of this year. Our cabin # was 8315 (mid-ship) and you could hear them moving around the deck chairs about 2:00 am but nothing to worry about.

We both just loved this ship, the decor was nice (not over the top/glitzy) and the food was excellent. But the balcony itself was smaller than one's we've had in the past. Of the nine ships we've been on, we would rate this one the best.

Have a create cruise.

It shouldn't be a problem.

You might hear a bit of noise from above, but I certainly wouldn't worry about it. I'd bet the trade off for the balcony will make it worth it!
Have a GREAT cruise.

I had a cabin right below Lido deck main pool area and I really couldn't hear a darn thing above me during the day or night....

I've had the very past portside cabin on Lido and Panorama deck and on those decks you can hear the party when it was deck party night...I didn't mind it cuz I was partaking in the deck party myself....I retired at 1am and the party was still going strong.....It wasn't a pretty morning since I had to be up at 6am to be ready and out for my early excursion the next day....

I will be on the Liberty with my wife this month as well. We sail on November 22, 2008. When do you go?
