Riveria Deck on Freedom

4 gals on Freedom in Feb. Had insides on Deck 6. TA called and could get us OV on Riveria but connecting and less money. We went for them because we wanted connecting cabins. Anyone stayed on this deck? I have never been below Deck 6. Was this a mistake??? We are midship.

People say they like it becuase it is less rocky but I dont like to be on one of the lowest decks of the ship.

We stayed on the Main( very first rooms on the ship) last summer and I loved it!!! Except it was a very long walk . This time we are staying on the Lido, not sure what to expect as far as movement goes. I bet youll have a great time no matter where you lay your head down for the few hours your sleeping ( 4 gals)

I had an outside 1A on the Riviera Deck of the Freedom. Cabin 1211 if my memory serves me well, close to bow section, but I had no problems with the room at all. It was quiet enough for me, except when we docked, lol. But if you got connecting rooms and an outside view cheaper, that means more money to have to spend on board. IMO you made a great choice.

We had an OV room on the Riviera Deck aboard the Truimph, and we loved it! It didn't take that much longer to get to/from our room from the Lido, it was quiet, and we slept like a dream. And best of all, when it was time to get back onto the ship on a port day we didn't have to wait in that long line for an elevator - we hopped up a half flight of stairs and were in our room long before the folks on the elevator made it to their deck!

We had OV on Riviera on Destiny this spring. It was a little noisy but it was spring break and we had a lot of families near us. It was great for disembarkation, We were pretty far forward so it was a long walk to dinner, but pretty easy access to public areas (except Lido of course).

I think you will enjoy your connect rooms and the view.

I just rememebered this. A lot of people say if you are on the lower decks you can hear the anchor go down in the morning.
