Default Do the cabin TVs have A/V inputs?

that are accessible? I'm referring to the Fascination which was refurbed with flat panel sets.

I want to be able to hook up a camcorder using either composite or HDMI cable. Since I assume the TVs are "nailed" in place, the inputs would be easy to see and get to.

[edit] In case anybody searches on the subject, here is the answer.

The TV's (LG, about 21") have easily accessible inputs. They are on the bottom of the case facing down. Inputs are composite, s-video, component, and VGA. And, of course, the stereo audio inputs.

Changing inputs can be done with the remote as well as the buttons, which are slightly hidden on the right side, but clearly marked if you have good eyesight.

These are not "hotel sets".

Haven't noticed any A/V inputs on any of the TV's on any of the ships we've sailed, but frankly, I wasn't really looking for them either. We have recently sailed the just upgraded Inspiration, and didn't see any A/V inputs accessible on it either. Good luck, but I wouldn't count on being able to access the A/V inputs.

If there are AV inputs on the TV they are locked out. There is no way to change it to input. It is just like the TV systems at a hotel.

We sailed on the Facination this summer. We looked to see if we could plug our portable DVD player into the flat screen tv. No luck. There are no exposed ports the way the tv is installed.

The good thing was there were enough tv stations to cover what little time we spent in the room. Unusual, though, to watch Denver traffic and weather from 2 time zones away on a tropical cruise.

On a recent cruise, a lady from Denver told the Cruise Director that she thought it was WONDERFUL that Carnival piped the hometown T.V. stations into everyones cabin.
