Default New Suites on Liberty

Has anyone stayed in one of those huge new suites on the Liberty? If you have I would like to see pictures.

We certainly didn't stay in the suites, but on our Nov 15-22 cruise we were directly above those suites on the Panorama deck. The semi-private balcony just outside of our room looked directly onto those suites' balconies. They extended out to cover the width of the Bridge on either side. On one of the CD's "live" call-in television shows he asked someone from those suites to call in and comment on them. Our cruise was the first sailing that they had been occupied by paying passengers. The lady that called in from the Port-side suite commented that there was a living room and a bedroom. There were two huge bathrooms, and two 48" plasma TVs. Supposedly a chandelier was hanging in there, as well. Oddly enough, she commented that her family had booked a standard room, and Carnival called her before sailing to upgrade her family to the suite because it was their 9th Carnival cruise. In turn, there was an announcement onboard that a gentleman was on his 67th Carnival jaunt, so go figure. Anyway, I can't help you with pics, other than the ones I took over my railing down to those balconies, but hope the info helps.

Yes it does. It sounds like they are very nice rooms. But I looked they are so expensive. For a 7 day cruise for the 1st 2 people it is 2899 pp and for the 3, 4, and 5 person it is 499 pp. So the third forth and fifth person price isn't expenisve but the 1st and 2nd is.

Like I said before, the lady who called in to the CD said that they were upgraded to that room. Granted most of us can't afford those prices, so sometimes it's the luck of the draw.

Most people arn't probably going to pay for that room. They are going to get upgraded form the penthouse suite.
