Default Recently Cruised on the Carnival Elation

Has anyone recently cruised on the Carnival Elation. Say in the last few weeks. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of around the ships and in the cabins. I am thinking about taking a cruise on the Elation and wondering if she was in good shape.

Check the review section at carnivalconnections.com. There aren't near as many posters but they do post reviews fairly frequently.

I was on the Elation in 2006, not very recent. I don't know if the upgrades have been done to the Elation or not. Here is a link to the photos that I have. I think there are some recent ones in the cruisemates photo gallery also.

They haven't done the upgrades like the water works and the newe pool. But they were suppose to do the cabins and get rid of those old red cabinents.

I was wondering if they had redone the cabins.

The wife and I were on a five day cruise on the Elation from 15 - 20 Nov 08, to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Although she is 10 years old, she is being maintained in wonderful condition. She has a great crew and there are plenty of things to do while on board. If you go to the Carnival web site and view the pictures for the room categories for the Elation, you will get a pretty good idea of what the rooms look like. If you are looking for a balcony room, then you will need to book a Penthouse Suite, as they are the only staterooms that have a balcony on this class of vessel. If you got to www.cruiseclues.com you can bring up the Elation and there are numerous personal websites that have photos of the ship. This vessel is squeaky clean, well maintained and the crew is top notch, from top to bottom.

The regular suites also have balconies too. I have been on a Fantasy class ship back in 03 and I was just wondering how the Elation's condition was.

You are correct...I forgot about the Cat 11 suites up on the Verandah deck. We were located on the Upper deck in the Cat 12's. Sorry about that, was a little tired when I wrote that post.
