I just booked a cruise on the Miracle in July out of NY. There were very few rooms left. We decided on Veranda Deck room 7300 was is at the far AFT of the ship. I have been on lots of Carnival ships but never at the extreme aft of any boat. I image seeing the wake will be very soothing.
Has anyone one else sailed on these rooms? Any pictures?
You missed the proverbial boat on this one Kuki, aft cabins are great!

I had on an aft cabin on the Spirit (sister ship to Miracle. They are nice, but their is a little shaking but not enough to really notice it. The balconies are bigger, but the only bad thing is it at a curve, so people can see you in part of your balcony, but not all of it. But it is kinda cool to have the noise of the water from the propellers.
There is a lot more good things to booking a cabin in the aft, so I would keep it.

Yep, soon it may be like the airlines and they might start charging extra to have a balcony cabin on the side that faces the port.
The good thing about an aft on the Miracle is that the bar by the adult pool area at the back of the ship will be above you so you won't have far to go back and forth to your room!
Had a 9-A aft wrap around on the Splendor. Great cabin but the balcony did not get as much shade as the center aft cabins. That may be a plus or minus depending on your preference. 8)

Aft Cabins are terrible !!!
All that propeller noise, all those people jogging past your cabin in the middle of the night, suction of the rear of the ship sucks in all that seawater spray, the balconies are easy to get lost on, the cabin steward has trouble finding you, room service takes three days, calling your friends in a mid-ship cabin is a long distance call, it takes three hours on roller skates to get to the gangway to debark, the sunset shines right through your cabin into the hallway. The elevators are so far away, you would rather spend the afternoon on the balcony with a good book.
You mattress easily fits on the balcony & you end up spending the night out under the stars. Believe me folks, DO NOT book an aft cabin. Especially those damned corner cabins. You know, the ones with 30 feet of railing. I speak with the authority of eight aft balcony cruises.
You have been warned.

I noticed the aft wrap around balconies on the Spendor were classified as 9a cabins, whereas the Spirit class wrap arounds are still Cat 11's. Is this part of Carnival's reclassification of staterooms (Splendor not Spirit)?
