We will all pray that you don't get snowed in and can't leave. Not trying to rub it in but its been in the upper 70's and low 80's all week here.

It is cold and snowy in Canada. It is still snowing off and on. Weather wise, it is in the chilly, -teens (Celcius). The weekend was downright frigid when it went to -39C with the windchill (too cold to go out!).

I get Edocs, so I can't get thrilled a few weeks before the cruise for documents cuz I have had my edocs since the spring.....

I cna get excited about the 17 days left before I leave!!

I was born in Detroit and don't miss all that snow. We still get some snow here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, just not that much. It's been 60'sF and raining all week here. Congrats on getting your documents! It wont be long now. Happy sailing.

P.S. The news said it snowed 3 inches on the Vegas Strip last night! Wierd.

Me too, in New England. My brother lost all power one week ago and still has none. Can you imagine? It's 10 degrees in the evening. Ugh.

It just start snowing (10:30 EST) here in lower New York state. They are predicting anywere from 8-12 inches today and possibly more on Sunday. It would be nice to be on a beach (almost any beach) in the caribbean right now but at least we'll have a white Christmas.

We got blasted today in the Detroit area with another 10 inches of the white stuff; more predicted for Sunday. We don't leave on Carnival Liberty until Feb. 14th. By then I may need a dog team to get me to the airport.

I can't belive that they let you use 4 letter words like snow on the forum.  That is such a foul word. 75 degrees today should be 80 for Christmas.

The older I get ,the more I hate snow. I live in Canada across the river from Detroit so we get the same weather. Believe it or not this year is the first time since 1971 that Canada had a white Christmas from coast to coast to coast.

Here in Chicago land, we got sleet and freezing rain over night, driving this AM was a nightmare, accidents all over.

Now, its turned to rain as the temps went up, should be in the 50's tomorrow with more rain, which means flooding....Just can't win here.

Our older daughter the one on the right came down to visit for Christmas. She is also from Chicago. She asked what we were going to do for Christmas and we said we are going to the beach. Now she doesn't want to go home. What more can you ask for. You gotta love Florida. We don't have to worry about catching a plane to get to the port for a cruise. No snow and the only ice is in you drinks. In three years our youngest will be away at college and that means more short notice cruises. Now I am not trying to rub it in but the only thing better than this would be to be on a cruise for Christmas.
