There's only the one beach at Progreso so just find a spot.

In Cozumel both Paradise Beach and Chankanaab park are family friendly.

Progresso is not a real "beach" port.

Yes, they have a beach...but it is not the beautiful Caribbean water you are use to seeing.

However, you can get 45 minute massages for $15.00.

We were just there last week and I was shocked at the low price.

One word of caution.. Progresso is great...we walked all over on our own with no problem..but the only person I have learned that will rip you off...is an AMERICAN that lives there.

He runs the El "something" ...BIG YELLOW building about half way down the beach. It looks very nice....and it has all the amenities that he promises...but we have read MANY complaints about them padding the bills. So be aware.

I started to say something to him last week, because I walked past him "hawking" on the sidewalk......but did not want to ruin my beautiful day.
