Cost for laundry services onboard

Has anyone used the laundry services offered on the ship? (not the self-serve laundrettes).. How much does it cost? Is it per item or per bag full? Can they have it completed by next day?

Hi, I did use the service and it was well worth it. It was for a bag not per piece.I can't remember the price but it seems like it was 10 or 15 bucks.Worth it when you leave the ship and not have to drag a bag of dirty clothes.Have a drink for me!(dirty banana)Ha Ha!!! :D

Yes it is ready by the next day.

We have found that if you turn it in by early morning you get it back same day.

Normal price is $15 per bag but will run special first day or two at $10.

I like the sounds of that.. I think we will definitely be using this service.. means bringing less luggage for a family of four :)

My recollection is they do laundry by the piece not the bag. It can be expensive if you have a lot of stuff. They do have a special where you can cram all you want into a bag for $15 but that is usually one time during the week. Maybe its changed since then but I dont care. I am VIP on my next cruise and its gonna get done for free... yea for me!

Wrong advice as laundry is $15 per bag every day and yes you do get it free for being platinum member. Just got off Splendor last month and this was the price.

johnsmom January 2nd, 2009 10:00 PM

How big is the bag?

The bags are not very large. We used 2 bags each time one for the wife and one for me. Didn't try to cram a lot into the bags. We were VIP on our last cruise and got it done for free. You should be able to get a couple days worth of clothes in a bag if you are talking about shirts, shorts and underwear.

Yeah, this was what I was talking about. So the wrong advice I was accused of sure seems to be accurate to me...
