Hi! I am going on a cruise in March with my mother and aunt who are both in their sixties. Both are fairly active and in decent shape. In Nassau I had planned on doing the walking tour of the town. I found a map online and thought we would just do it on our own. Has anyone on here done this? My question is how long is the walk and how strenuous is it?
Also, I am trying to find something for us to do in Freeport. On past cruises my husband and I have just gone to the beach, but I would rather find something else to do with them. All of the cruise excursions are scuba/ snorkel/ partyboat type excursions. Not really their cup of tea. Any suggestions?
Hello Peach 8) I went to the Bahamas in July with no planned excursions and we just jumped a cab in Freeport and went to Grand Lacayne resort and walked around the resort and messed around in all the little shops. The next day in Nassau we took a watertaxi to Atlantis resort(a must see) it cost us around 3 or 4 bucks to ride the watertaxi but we did have to to Atlantis but the view was great. We have decided the next time we go to Nassau were going to spend the day at Atlantis. Have fun
